Katie Meili began her affiliation with DCLI in June, 2013. After graduating from Columbia University, she moved to Charlotte to pursue her Olympic swimming dreams. Katie began working part time as an intern with DCLI while swimming with SwimMAC Carolina. DCLI now sponsors Katie, allowing her train and compete full time. While representing DCLI, Katie has won many international competitions, including the 100m breaststroke at the 2015 Pan American Games. She is currently the fastest 100m breaststroker in the United States and the third fastest in the World. Katie’s current goal is qualify for the 2016 Olympics at the US Olympic Team trials in June of 2016. You can follow her journey on here on her blog.
